SSC CHSL Recruitment 2018

The SSC CHSL exam is held in 3 stages called (Tiers). While the first one is online the latter two are offline exams. The entire process of registration and communication happens online through the official website of SSC CHSL. Candidates must qualify each stage of the SSC CHSL exam to proceed to the next one, before being finally selected.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) start conducting the Combined Higher Secondary Level(CHSL) in three levels for various posts from 2016:

Before beginning the SSC CHSL preparation, it is important to make note of changes in exam pattern and syllabus. The modifications to SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2018 are given below::
• SSC CHSL 2018 Tier 1 exam will be conducted in online mode.
• Introduction of a descriptive paper of 100 marks within 60 minutes in pen and paper mode.
• Reduction in time limit for examination of Tier -I from 120 minutes to 75 minutes.
• Tier III will remain same.
• No Sectional Cut off.

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2018

Since the SSC CHSL is comprised of 3 different levels, we must deal with their syllabus independently.
This is an objective exam which will be conducted online. There are 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC CHSL 2018, with 100 questions which account for a total of 200 marks. The subject-wise details are given below:

Important Points:
• There is negative marking in SSC CHSL 2018 Tier 1 Exam. Giving a wrong answer to a question will lead to a penalty of 0.5 marks in all sections
• The exam duration is 100 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped.
SSC CHSL Tier 2 Syllabus
This is a descriptive exam that is designed to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/Application writing of approximately 150-200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent. The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit. The best way to prepare for the same is to read lots of articles from various newspapers. Apart from this, you need to be well aware of the pattern of Letter and Application.
Important Points:
• The exam is of 60 minutes’ duration and carries 100 marks.
• The questions are based on 10 level.
• The exam is qualifying in nature.
• Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will not be evaluated.
• The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped or suffer from cerebral palsy.
SSC CHSL Tier 3 Exam Syllabus
The Tier 3 of SSC CGL Exam 2018 comprises of a couple of skill tests which are required for certain government posts.
Skill Test for Data Entry Operator(DEO):
• Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.
• The duration of the Test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes .
Typing Test for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDCs and Court Clerks:
• Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi and candidates while applying for the Examination, will have to indicate his/her choice/option for Skill Test Medium in the Application Form.
• Typing Test will be of qualifying in nature.
• It will be administered on the Computer, to be provided by the Commission or any agency authorized by the Commission.
• Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute.
• Candidates opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute.
• The speed will be adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the Computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.
• Visually Handicapped candidates (with 40% disability and above) will be allowed 30 minutes.
Note: After skill test or typing test, those candidates who qualify it, will be appointed based on their position in the merit list.

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria

There are 3 important criteria which a candidate must fulfill in order to be eligible for the SSC CHSL 2018. The 3 parameters are given below:
1. Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit: 18-27 years as on 01.08.2018 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2000).
3. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

SSC CHSL Online Application

The online application for SSC CHSL 2018 exam has begun from 18th November, 2017. The last date to apply online is 18th December, 2017

SSC CHSL Application Fee

• The required application fee is Rs. 100/-
• Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates
• Applications fee should be pay only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online
• To pay fee in cash, candidate should take print out of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration
• Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration

SSC CHSL 2018 Admit Card

Every candidate who registers for SSC CHSL Exam 2018 within stipulated time will be assigned an e-admit card/hall ticket/call letter that can be downloaded from the official website of SSC. The admit card for the CGL Tier-1 exam will be released first followed by the admit card of CGL Tier-2 exam (administered to only those candidates who qualify for Tier 1 exam).

SSC CHSL Tier II Syllabus

As stated above, this paper calls for candidates to write an essay and Letter/Application that tests their writing skills of the candidates. The essay topics will be related to National Interest, Finance & Economy, Ecological Issues, Politics, Social Issues, Schemes & Governance, Sports, Technology, Geopolitics, Environmental Concerns etc. While, the type of letter/ application asked will be Application, Complaint, Suggestion, Official Appreciation, Follow up or Feedback etc.

SSC CHSL Tier III Syllabus

Tier-III of SSC CHSL 2017 will be a Skill/ Typing Test of qualifying nature. The final merit of the selected candidates will be based on the basis of total score obtained in Tier-I and Tier-II.
Skill test for the post of Data Entry Operator: In this test, a candidate should have data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour.
Duration of the Test is 15 minutes and English document having about 2000-2200 strokes/key-depressions is given to type.

SSC CGL Result

SSC CGL Result 2017

The SSC CGL Result 2017 for Tier-I Exam has been released by SSC. The result of Tier-II and the subsequent examination will be released after the Examinations for the same has been conducted. The Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II & Tier-III) Examination, 2017 is tentatively scheduled to be held from 21.12.2017 to 24.12.2017.

• Result of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam: The result of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I has been declared by Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

• Result of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-II Exam: Candidates who qualify Tier-I will be allowed to give Tier-IIexam of the SSC CGL 2017. Results will be declared once the exam has been conducted.

• Result of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-III Exam: Result for Tier-III exam of SSC CGL 2017 will be declared separately for different posts for which the exam is conducted.

• Result for Tier-IV Exam: It is the Computer Proficiency Test and can be taken anytime as per candidate’s availability. Result for Computer Proficiency Test will be declared only after all candidates have taken the test.

• Final Result: The final result will be based on the cumulative score of all the levels of examination. It will decide the fate of candidates who aspire to join the Government ministry/department. Therefore it’s necessary for a candidate to score well in all the levels of examination to guarantee his/her selection in SSC CGL 2017 Exam.

SSC CGL 2017 Cut off

SSC(Staff Selection Commission) has released the Cut-Off List of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam. SSC CGL Tier-I Exam was held from 5th august to 23rd august 2017. The exam was conducted for 15 days and almost 16 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. As per the opinion of candidates, the difficulty level of the CGL Tier-1 exam has increased. In most of the shifts, one or two sections were tough.

RBI Assistant 2017 will be conducted by RBI to recruit candidates for the Assistant to its various branches all over the country. As it is a national level recruitment process, applications from all sections of India are invited. Candidates can apply online for this post after the RBI Assistant 2017 Notificationhas been released by RBI. The exam is going to be conducted in three phases: Prelims, Mains and Interview. RBI Assistant 2017 Salary

The Basic Pay for a RBI Assistant is Rs. 14,650/- every month. In addition to the Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc. are also granted to the RBI Assistant. Thus, the Gross Salary of a RBI Assistant ranges to approximately Rs. 32,124/- every month.

RBI Assistant 2017 Application Fees

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 450 (for General and OBC Candidate) or Rs. 50 (for Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD) as their Application Fee for RBI Assistant 2017 Exam. He/She can pay the application fee online using net banking or by any credit/debit card.
Please note that no application fee is required to be paid by the RBI staff.

RBI Assistant 2017 Exam Centre

The RBI Assistant 2017is the online mode of examination and is conducted at various centres all over the country. Candidates are allotted centres according to the preference provided by them during the submission of the RBI Assistant application form. RBI Exam Conducting Body may change the centre without prior notice to the candidate due to unavailability of seats in the preferred location in case of the unavailability of seat in the preferred location. Candidates do not have the authority to launch complain for the same.

RBI Assistant 2017 Exam Pattern

RBI Assistant Exam 2017 is going to be conducted in three phases. The preliminary examination has three sections: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and English Language.
The mains exam has five different sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.
There is negative marking for the wrong answers attempted by the candidate. No marks will be deducted if the question is left unanswered or blank.

RBI Assistant 2017 Eligibility

Nationality: A candidate is required to be a citizen of India
Age Limit: A candidate must range between 20-28 years of age to be eligible for RBI Assistant 2017 Exam. Age relaxation is given too candidates belonging to reserved category. The age relaxationas granted by the Government of India is mentioned in the table below:

RBI Assistant 2017 Admit Card & Call Letter

Candidates are required to download the RBI Assistant Exam 2017 admit card from its official website as the admit card won’t be sent to candidates via post. To login to the official website, a candidate will require the following:

RBI Assistant 2017 Results

RBI will declare the results after completion of each phase of examination. Since the mains exam is conducted within 15-20 days after the commencement of preliminary examination, it is important that students keep visiting the website regularly to see their results. The cumulative marks of the preliminary exam, mains exam and the interview will decide the candidates for the post of Assistant in Reserve Bank of India.

RBI Assistant 2017 Preparation

The preparation of RBI Assistant exam must be done magnanimously keeping in mind the latest pattern and the syllabus of the exam. It is necessary for the students to choose the right set of books to prepare for their examination as the syllabus of RBI Assistant Exam 2017 is quite vast.

Interview Process:

After clearing both preliminary exam and mains exam, a candidate is called for the final interview process where the professional skills and overall knowledge of the candidate is tested. Final selection of the candidate depends on how well he/she performs in the Interview Process. Penalty for Wrong Answers: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every answer attempted wrong by a candidate. No deduction will be made for the question left blank or unattempted by a candidate.

IB ACIO Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2017


Intelligence Bureau (Ministry of Home Affairs) will conduct exam on 15th October for 1430 vacancies for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II. Those who have given SSC CGL Tier-I and are in doubt about their selection in CGL Tier-I, they should definitely prepare for IB (ACIO) Exam as you are already prepared for it, you just have to prepare a little more for it. So, this is an another good opportunity for SSC Aspirants.

If we talk about previous year IB exams, majority of questions were asked from General Awareness section. But from this year onward IB exam pattern has changed and now the pattern is same as SSC CGL Tier-I exam.         IBPS PO 2017 Notification and Exam Dates:

        IBPS has released the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers 2017-18. IBPS has introduced some major changes this year in its Mains Exam Pattern. However, the examination pattern for the preliminary exam is still the same. This year IBPS will also conduct a descriptive test of English Language (Letter and Essay Writing) along with the mains exam. Now the structure is very similar to the mains pattern of SBI Exams.         The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an organization that helps in assessment and selection of an individual for various organization at different posts. IBPS PO Exam inspects an individual on the base of Speed, Accuracy and Confidentiality in all its activities.         Approximate salary of bank PO is 35,000 - 40,000 and it may vary bank to bank. And other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force from time to time in the company.         Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts examination for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) and Clerical Cadre every year. IBPS will take CWE-VII for Probationary Officers as an Online exam in two parts:

        IBPS PO Preliminary Exam Pattern consist of 100 questions & in 3 sections and 1 hour of time.  The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination is just of qualifying nature for mains exam. The pattern of the Preliminary exam is given below:

        C) IBPS PO Interview:

        The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The qualifying marks in interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (Main exam) and interview for final merit list will be 80:20 respectively.

        A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.

        IBPS PO 2017 Online Application

        The online application for IBPS 2017 exam will begin from 16th of August 2017.

        IBPS PO 2017 Application Fee

        Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. 
        Rs. 600 /- for all others 

        IBPS PO Admit Card 2017

        Every candidate who registers for IBPS Exam 2017 within stipulated time will be assigned an e-admit card/hall ticket/call letter that can be downloaded from the official website of IBPS. The admit card for the PRELIMS exam will be released first followed by the admit card of  MAINS exam (administered to only those candidates who qualify for MAINS).

        IBPS PO Results 2017

        IBPS will release the results in three stages after completion of each level Exam. The candidates selected in the rounds progress to the next one. Candidates can check the result from the direct link to official IBPS website as and when the results are announced.

        IBPS PO Results 2017


        IBPS will release the results in after completion of each Phase of Examination.The Final Merit state wise and category wise List shall be prepared in descending order of the marks secured by the candidates in the Online Main Examination and interview. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment subject to Medical Fitness
