Intelligence Bureau (Ministry of Home Affairs) will conduct exam on 15th October for 1430 vacancies for
Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II. Those who have
given SSC CGL Tier-I and are in doubt about their selection in CGL
Tier-I, they should definitely prepare for IB (ACIO) Exam as you are
already prepared for it, you just have to prepare a little more for it.
So, this is an another good opportunity for SSC Aspirants.
If we talk about previous year IB exams, majority of questions were asked from General Awareness section. But from this year onward IB exam pattern has changed and now the pattern is same as SSC CGL Tier-I exam. IB ACIO Exam Pattern:
Tier-I
Tier-I exam contains 4 subjects which are similar to SSC Exam, so you
don't have to study anything extra, your preparation of SSC CGL Exam
will come handy. GA section is a bit tricky rest is easy. So focus on

Some important points of Tier-I Exam:
- There will be negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer in Tier-I.
- No marks would be awarded for an un-attempted question.

- Only those candidates would be called for Tier-II exam who come up to a certain standard in Tier-I.
